You can cook Gracie's Favorite Stuffed Peppers(TWO WAYS!! Carb and Low Carb) using 11 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
Ingredients of Gracie's Favorite Stuffed Peppers(TWO WAYS!! Carb and Low Carb)
- You need 6 of large green peppers(fairly uniform in size).
- Prepare 1 1/2 lb of ground beef (I used 85%).
- Prepare 1 box of herb and butter Rice a Roni(prepared as box directs, you will yield a little over 2 cups).
- You need 1/2 head of a small cauliflower, finely chopped.
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese(I use Sargento shreds, never the powdery stuff).
- Prepare 2 cup of tomato sauce.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning (use your favorite, I prefer McCormick Tuscan perfect pinch).
- You need 1 tbsp of sugar.
- It's 2 tsp of chopped garlic.
- You need 1 of salt and pepper to taste.
- It's 6 of heaping tablespoons of shredded mozzarella.
Top each stuffed pepper with about a tablespoon of pizza sauce. Slice the tops off peppers and remove seeds and ribs. With a small knife, cut a few small slits in the bottom of each pepper (to drain liquid released by the beef as it cooks). Stuff the peppers with the meat mixture and place, open side up, in a baking dish that holds the peppers snugly; pour remaining sauce in bottom of the dish.
