- Prepare 1 of whole dressed chicken.
- It's 4 of table spoons of fresh pepper paste.
- It's 1 of medium sized onion.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 clove of garlic and ginger.
- It's 4 cubes of knor chicken.
- You need of Medium sized bowl of fresh tomatoes.
- It's 1 cup of groundnut oil.
- It's 2 cups of rice.
- Prepare 2 tablespoons of curry powder.
A delicious and easy Spanish chicken stew, or pollo guisado. Great for entertaining and makes for great leftovers. Spanish Chicken Stew is a hearty and comforting dish that we grew up eating all the time. Served on a bed of white rice, the sauce soaks right in, and a few dashes of hot sauce complement the richness of tender chicken thighs and the tanginess of the occasional green olive.
Chicken stew on white rice instructions
- Cut your chicken into desirable sizes.
- Cook under low heat,, adding salt, slices of onion, maggi and curry.
- Allow to steam for 10minutes.
- Remove from heat....set aside leaving the stock.
- To your fresh tomatoes,,,blend and steam.
- Fry the tomatoes,,, adding onions, crayfish and curry.
- Fry for 8minutes till it turns reddish brown....add the chicken stock and a cup of clean water.
- Add other ingredients and set aside aside.
- Put your meat in the oven and dry to reduce excess fat...at a temperature of 180°c serve with your hot rice.....
