Ingredients of Yam Tuk..(Sindhi Special..SuranTuk)

  1. You need 250 gram of Yam/Suran.
  2. You need Half of teaspoon Amchur powder.
  3. It's 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder.
  4. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Kashmiri Red Chilli powder.
  5. Prepare of Salt to taste.
  6. It's Half of teaspoon Black pepper powder.
  7. You need of Oil for frying.

Double-fried crispy appetizers, tuk can be made from potatoes, brinjals and even arbi (yam). Aloo tuk is made by fried potatoes toss with red chilli powder, dry mango powder, coriander powder and salt. You can served with a sindhi curry, papad and plain rice.   1. Cut yam or Suran into medium sized or 2" cubes as shown in pic..
  2. Put slight slit on them so that they cook well from inside too.
  3. Keep oil for frying and when it is hot add yam/Suran. Fry on high flame for 2 mins and then lower the flame and cover it..
  4. Keep stirring it in between. Check with knife. If it is done remove them on tissue paper..
  5. On tissue paper press them gently and fry it again. Till then mix all dry masalas in one bowl..
  6. Fry it till it is golden brown and crispy..
  7. Sprinkle this masalas on them and serve hot and crispy Tuks..
