Tastes good, yes, but the vegetable part is underwhelming to say the least. This is a totally vegetarian vegetable fried rice, and is just as good as a fried rice made with meat. The addition of dark (or mushroom) soy sauce gives it a rich, darker color and great flavor. Set out additional soy sauce on the table, if desired.

- Cut onion into thin slices and finely chop green chilli. Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat and sauté sliced onion.
- Green chilli, chopped ginger and chopped garlic, add tsp of Dashi chicken powder; sauté them for a minute..
